There's nothing we love more than the banter between The Voice coaches, and we caught a great moment during the March 3 episode of The Voice season 27.
As contestant Brook Wood wowed John Legend, Adam Levine, Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé with a heartfelt rendition of Jelly Roll's "Save Me." it didn't take long for John to turn his chair around with the hopes of having her join his team. Just when it looked like he was going to secure the win, Kelsea hit her button too.
Naturally, this caused a potential issue for John and Kelsea, but it was actually when Adam got involved that things turned up a notch. As he was giving feedback, it was clear Adam was trying to convince Brook to go with Kelsea.
"I really wanted Kelsea to push—," Adam began before John took over the conversation in a clip posted on YouTube.
"Brook, I'm right here — I just want you to know that!" John interrupted. "Adam, I know you were talking. I don't wanna — are you done?"
While folks loved seeing John and Adam interact, they especially loved Brook's performance.
"The way Adam loves and looks out for Kelsea 😄❤️," one person wrote in the comments. "This one may go the distance," another declared. "Would've loved to hear John and her sing together," a different follower added.
So, did John succeed in convincing Brook he was the coach for her? Much to his chagrin, she eventually went to Kelsea's team. But this doesn't mean he doesn't have the chance to steal her down the line ...
Guess we'll just have to tune in and see!
