Boden knows how to make a hero product. Last year, fans couldn't get enough of its Farleigh coat.
And it's not hard to see why: tricolor coats are ideal for people easing themselves in paintbox brights, or for when you can't decide whether (or afford) to invest in more than one style.
If you didn't manage to get your hands on one last year, we have good news: the Farleigh is back for autumn/winter 2019.
The new version comes in a chic pea-green colour way offset with powder-pink and navy hues. It's already making waves on Instagram, so we predict it will be a big hit.
It's cut from the same soft brushed wool-blend, has curved collars, a figure-flattering flared skirt and subtly nipped-in waist.

Last year's design was primarily camel wool, and turned to reveal a beautiful colour-block back: a pleated panel in paintbox-red and a navy sash.
We spotted this outerwear all over Instagram, with influencers and bloggers everywhere from London to Germany, and New York putting their stamp on it.
It also came in a teal, navy and red combo for those who love to embrace colour.
Sadly the camel and teal colourways will not be re-stocked for the new season, but the brand has told us that navy and milkshake pink versions are coming very soon!
If the Farleigh is not your thing, there are plenty of other colour-block options on Boden's site this season:
And the retailer has re-released another popular coat for 2019: the Whitstable trench.
Defined by its sporty side stripe and bold Union Jack lining, this fresh take on a British classic feels playful and modern.
It's also appropriate for every age, if the Instagram spots are anything to go by, which means you'll be wearing it for years to come (trench coats never date).
