The sun’s out and that means one thing... a glass of rosé in hand as we marvel at how warm the UK is shaping up to be this summer.

If, like us, you love the ever-so popular rosé Whispering Angel but resent the hefty price tag, we have some great news for you! Lidl is launching a pale blush Provence rosé at just £10.99 – 50% cheaper than its counterpart.

Breath of Paradise (ignore the name, it’s what’s inside that counts) is ‘made primarily with Grenache grapes grown in Provence, giving it that iconic rosé hue and the classic Provençal aroma of fresh peach and wild herbs that we know and love’, says Lidl’s master of wine, Richard Bampfield.

What to read next

‘With a perfectly balanced acidity, body and dryness, each bottle of Breath of Paradise is effortlessly drinkable. Best served well chilled or even over a large ice cube, it’ll quench the thirst of rosé lovers at any occasion this summer.’
