The limited-edition flavour is, surprisingly, vegan-friendly, and while lightly spiced festive ham is the dominant flavour, the truffle acts as a delicious background note, so as not to overpower.

A luxe crisp deserves the best, so don’t be afraid to crack open a bottle of bubbles to serve alongside.

While parmesan and truffle isn’t an overtly Christmas flavour combination, the festive period is a time of indulgence, so we’ve made an allowance.

A far cheaper alternative to Torres’ much-loved but pricey version, Lidl’s budget cheesy take has a strong presence of the luxury, earthy ingredient from the first bite, and the crisps themselves are extra thick for a satisfying crunch.

The combination of roast duck, infused with spiced rum, results in a sweet hoisin sauce flavour, all wrapped up in a rough, crinkle cut crisp. Our testers confirmed these have an excellent crunch, and we think they’d be delicious served alongside a rum-based cocktail such as a mai tai. Cheers!
