Best for Greek food

HERA

HERA

Newly opened HERA, located just off from Stratford shopping centre, is the Greek restaurant you didn't know you needed in your life. As soon as you enter the restaurant, the impressively lit wall of alcohol draws your attention, but it's the food that will really blow you away. Each dish is a perfect balance of flavours, and with most dishes being cooked over an open flame, brings with it a wonderful smoky, char-grilled taste. It was difficult to pick one favourite dish, but you won't want to miss the Tirokafteri dip (roasted red pepper and feta dip), the Feta Saganaki (crispy, golden cheese - what more could you want?), the range of freshly grilled seafood, and for dessert you have to try the Ekmek Kataifi; a wonderful cake with crunchy shredded pastry, baked custard and sweet whipped cream.

The Ned is one of the coolest and most unique spaces in the City of London and if you haven't been before, it's a former bank headquarters that has been transformed into a hotel and members club, with seven restaurants, three bars, spa facilities and a gym to explore. There's a real treat happening at The Ned right now, with Ivan Ramen taking over the restaurant Kaia for two months only. Don't miss the Iberico Pork Collar Tsukemen (pictured), with its rich pork broth served alongside thick rye noodles, Iberico pork slices, grilled mushrooms and a jammy egg, designed to be dipped into the broth for a savoury explosion.
