While providing needed facilities for any home, your bathroom is also a place where you can relax and unwind; enjoying a soak in the bath or indulging in your favourite skincare routine.

Many of us spend lots of time decorating our bathrooms, choosing fittings that suit our style in addition to a colour scheme we love and little extras. It goes without saying, therefore, that no bathroom is complete without storage. Whether you use cabinets, cupboards or racks, everyone needs somewhere to keep items like towels and toiletries.

There's no reason why your storage can't be aesthetically pleasing, either. If you opt for shelving or racks, jazz them up by adding something like a candle or house plant. Alternatively, if you're choosing cupboards or cabinets, look for colours that match your bathroom colour scheme and pretty additions or details like mirrors or glass.

It goes without saying that there are a lot of bathroom storage solutions on the market. It can be hard to decide what ones best suit your space, style and taste.

To help you make a decision and choose storage that you love, our Good Housekeeping experts are on hand with their top bathroom storage recommendations. We spoke to Good Housekeeping's Editor-in-Chief, Gabby Huddart for her expert advice, as well as our homes team: Carolyn Bailey (Homes and Gardens Director), James Cunningham (Deputy Homes and Interiors Editor) and Daisy Bendall (Homes and Style Assistant).

Here are their top recommendations for bathroom storage solutions, to keep your bathroom tidy while looking beautiful...
