1Sonder Chambers
Sonder ChambersThis peaceful Midtown Manhattan enclave is a haven from the footfall outside. The location is something to boast about; you’re close to Central Park, Fifth Avenue shops, MOMA, Rockefeller Center and Times Square but there’s plenty to entertain you at the hotel.
The use of natural materials and earthy colours by designer David Rockwell creates an uplifting, soothing feel in rooms and public spaces while the bar is low-lit and a bit more atmospheric. Sonder Chambers suits adults staying for both business and leisure. There’s also a lovely Italian restaurant (go for the tonnarelli cacio e pepe).
