Since she first graced television screens as a cohost of Wheel of Fortune in 1982, Vanna White has kept fans enthralled by her on-screen glam. And even after more than 40 years in front of the camera, Vanna has managed to keep her skin looking flawless with or without makeup – something that can be attributed to her skincare routine.

In an interview with CNN, Vanna revealed her go-to beauty hack for maintaining her vibrant look. “I use Vaseline around my eyes as an eye cream,” she shared, letting us all in on the wallet-friendly swap.

According to Vanna, applying “a little bit” of the product to her eye area before bed is all she needs to keep her skin nourished and ready for prime-time.

While skincare enthusiasts may typically reach for Vaseline for the slugging portion of their nighttime routines, our experts at the Good Housekeeping Institute say that swapping out your eye cream with the occlusive isn’t a bad idea either.

Skin around the eyes is the thinnest on our face with the lowest elasticity. It is also prone to dryness, making it a must to keep it moisturized. “Vaseline is occlusive so it prevents skin from losing moisture overnight,” says Beauty, Health & Sustainability Lab Reviews Analyst Chiara Butler.

It looks like we can look to Vanna for the best insight on affordable skincare as she also revealed her secret to keeping her skin smooth. “About every two weeks, I lightly use a Buf-Puf to exfoliate my skin,” she told the outlet.

We can't wait to see what she recommends next!
