Cheap turkey recipes
Turkey doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg this festive season!

We're all going to feel the pinch this festive season with the cost of living crisis in full swing. It doesn't mean you have to compromise on quality and taste though. We have collected our favourite turkey crown and turkey roll recipes to enjoy on Christmas Day, rather than cooking an entire turkey. Spend as much as you can afford on your turkey, and ensure it's free-range, and you will be rewarded with a flavoursome bird.
A turkey crown is where the legs and wings have been removed, leaving behind the turkey breasts, still attached to the bone. Not only is a crown a cheap option, but it is easier to cook and will leave more room in your oven for the rest of your trimmings. You also run less of risk of drying out your turkey breasts since you won't have to wait for the legs to cook after the breasts have.
Rolled turkey is comprised of two turkey breasts bound together usually using turkey skin, bacon or parma ham. A turkey roll is really easy to carve and is the perfect choice if you're hosting six or less people this year, reducing the amount of waste.
However, if you are lucky enough to have any leftovers then we have plenty of delicious leftover recipes. From curries to burgers, and salads to noodle dishes, we have something for everyone.
We also have an individual turkey breast recipe with an apricot and sage stuffing that costs only £1.49 per portion. In fact, we have an entire festive meal for six for under £30.
