Lidl's Easter opening hours - everything you need to know for the long weekend

If budget supermarket Lidl is your everyday go-to, you'll want to know exactly what hours they'll be open over the Easter bank holiday weekend so you don't get stuck without every ingredient you need (which obviously includes plenty of Easter eggs, hot cross buns, and don't forget to pick up their Dubai chocolate bar if you see it in stock!).

Expect relatively good weather across the whole of the UK, with parts being mostly dry (some rain expected in the North-West) and generally a light cloud cover across the whole bank holiday weekend. Temperatures will reach up to 18C for those in south-eastern England, so don't forget your SPF if you're heading outdoors.

Good Friday - 18/04/2025:

All stores across England, Wales and Scotland are open as normal. Lidl recommends you see your local store for the most accurate opening times.

Easter Saturday - 19/04/2025:

All stores across England, Wales and Scotland are open as normal. Lidl recommends you see your local store for the most accurate opening times.

This is typically the busiest day to visit the shops, with people doing a last minute dash to the shops or buy things they've forgotten so avoid visiting during the hours between 10am - 1pm if you don't like big crowds.

Easter Sunday - 20/04/2025:

All Aldi stores in England and in Wales will be closed on Easter Sunday. Scotland stores will be open 08:00 - 21:00pm as they do not operate the same Sunday trading laws as England and Wales.

Easter Monday - 21/04/2025:

Store opening hours in England inside the M25 are open 08:00am - 10:00pm (outside of the M25 stores and all stores in Wales will be open 08:00am - 08:00pm).

Stores in Scotland are open as normal.

Does Lidl offer home delivery?

Unfortunately Lidl does not offer home delivery, so you can't pre-book a slot to have your ingredients delivered to you. Lidl recommend visiting your nearest store.
