Breakfast in bed never looked better - these are the best recipes for the Easter weekend
Start your Easter weekend on the right note with these delicious dishes.

The long Easter weekend is a couple of months away and we cannot wait for some warmer, sunny days (fingers crossed), plenty of spritzes and starting our day with chocolate, obviously!
We'll be hosting our family and friends as usual and that usually involves baking and preparing lots of delicious foods including making things like biscuits or cakes (including the essential cornflake cakes) alongside preparing the main feast of the day - the Easter lunch.
One of the things we look forward to as much as the main meal is a a quick and easy Easter breakfast option. There are plenty of easy Easter breakfast ideas and recipes, so it needn't be a daunting task.
Some of our favourite Easter breakfast ideas include a recipe for ultimate waffles - the batter takes not time to whip up (make sure you set time aside to let the batter rest) and if you have a waffle maker it couldn't be easier to have waffles to feed a crowd.
Pancakes are also fairly fuss free and if you're looking for something a little more seasonal to serve at the breakfast table then we recommend lemon and poppy seed pancakes which are light, zesty and fluffy - just serve with yoghurt and honey.
We also love French toast and we've given the usual French toast recipe an Easter twist - simnel cake French toast. It combines all the flavours of Simnel cake, all-spice, nutmeg and vanilla, with raisin bread . You can use your favourite fruit bread for this recipe – just make sure it’s not too thickly sliced, or the centre won’t soak up the delicious egg mixture.
If you want a speedy Easter breakfast then our recipe for Sunday brunch bake on takes 15mins prep time, using English muffins, streaky bacon and cocktail sausages. It's delicious.
