Pamela Anderson has been leaning into low-key beauty for a while now, ditching her iconic 1990s blow-dries and smokey eye makeup. Now, however, it seems that the original 1990s bombshell is yearning for something a little more glamorous again. In her latest appearance, the star has embraced vintage glam with a new hairstyle that’s 100% Old Hollywood, along with makeup that’s far from the bare-faced look she unveiled back in 2023 at Paris Fashion Week.
Earlier this month, Pamela took us all by surprise at the Met Gala when she traded in her trademark long locks for a chin-length box bob and a blunt fringe. However, the edgier look didn’t last long, as last night she stepped on to the streets of New York looking like a double of our favourite silver screen icon.
We’re of course talking about Marilyn Monroe. Pamela’s latest look is undeniably reminiscent of the Hollywood legend, with her hair taking centre stage. Her platinum blonde locks have been styled into gorgeous, voluminous pin curls for a true vintage look. Meanwhile, her recently cut fringe has been curled away from her face for extra lift.
The hair wasn’t the only change. While in recent years Pamela has become known for her fresh-faced glamour, often opting to walk the red carpet makeup-free, it seems that she’s also dusted off her makeup bag. While she’s (thankfully) a world away from her heavily made-up 1990s era, Pamela has definitely amped up her usual look with a soft smokey eye, brown eyeliner, rosy blush and a glossy, peachy lip.
She carefully balanced out her Hollywood-glam beauty, toning the look down with an understated (but incredibly chic) monochrome outfit. She kept it simple with a fitted knit jumper and loose pleated trousers, paired with patent platform heels for a touch of drama.
One thing is certain: Pamela always looks stunning, regardless of whether she keeps it minimal or embraces her signature 1990s aesthetic. Here at GH, we can’t wait to see how she surprises us next.
PS: In case you missed it, Pammy isn’t the only celebrity showing that vintage glamour never goes out of style. In recent weeks, we’ve seen Emma Stone wearing a 1920s pixie cut, and Frankie Bridge channeling her inner Audrey Hepburn with a micro-fringe. It remains to be seen which celebrity will take inspiration from which decade next…
